Amazon dot com takes Eurocard, visa, mastercard, American Express, that is, credit cards only and ships to FPOs so visit them at www dot amazon.com and follow their rules. The book is listed.

I tried the Corbis link and it doesn't work. HOWEVER, of you visit the site and type in Julia Stiles as a Query the photos come up.

Nice. Nice.

Next, the New York Post, one of the ten largest circulation papers in the U.S. (actually ALL the New York papers are in the top ten and top eight if you consider USA Today and The Wall Street Journal are national), has had "items" about Selma Blair (Liz Smith's gossip column) wanting to "marry" Robert Evans, the producer and then a story (Page Six column) about Robert Evans in a new flap. Gossip. Gossip. Gossip.

Then the august "Wall Street Journal" had a story about intrigue involving "Bourne Identity" director Doug Liman, son of a deceased high profile attorney with Washington and Hollywood connection.

And if you check out sites with photos of Selma Blair, she does more cheesecake than Julia. For what it's worth.

Finally, an announcement of a Summer, 2003 project would probably help boost interest in "Guy Thing." (TBD).

For what it's worth.

No, not finally. From "Premiere" Magazine, June, 2002, there is a small piece about "Bourne Identity" and an article entitled "The Class of 2002," subtitled "20 more future-perfect players."

Julia Stiles. She brushed up her Shakespeare (a lyrice from "Kiss Me Kate") in "10 Things I Hate About You, O and Hamlet" and let her hair down in "Save the Last Dance." This ambitious Columbia University student will star in the upcoming "Carolina," a coming-of-age dramedy from Miramax.

Julia is in the Pirelli Calendar alonng with Mena Suvari, Selma Blair, Rachel Leigh Cook, and Lauren Bush. But it is only GIVEN BY PIRELLI to the RICH and FAMOUS!! Also she signed on as a producer with Smithy's Films. I got all this at the Katrillion.com fan file of Julia Stiles.

Julia Stiles will be a presenter at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards. Sadly, she is not nominated but hey its still good she will be there! June 6th kids mark your calendars!

Also there was this show on MTV today when I woke up. It was some Movie awards special about past shows and there were a couple snippets of Julia.

The outfit in Katrillion is nothing compared to what The New York Post pictured Julia in on Sunday. Being a male, I don't spend a lot of time dealing with women's clothes but it appears to a designer outfit with long sleeves, a modest decolletage and a long sash hanging below her waist with a nice, long skirt to go with it.

It's at the closing ceremony of Robert Deniro's Tribeca Film Festival at Pace University and she is also wearing an elegant antique looking piece of jewelry around her neck set with some big stones. Since the picture is black and white and not color I cannot tell what sort, but having spent a summer with a retired former watch industry executive named Hyman Dintsman (father of an writer's agent--mostly Fox)looking at that sort of thing I can tell you it probably isn't paste.

The picture is not on The Post's web site right now. Hope to find it eventually under "Snaps."

Playbill, a magazine given out free to theatre goers in New York, has a web site with news and casting about "Twelfth Night." Since this is only for native New Yorkers I am trying to figure out what to post and when and even if I should go see the play. Decisions decisions decisions.

Wonder if Ezra Moses will attend.

Believe me, you don't want him to. he talk all through the show, he comes dressed like a hagard, and I don't even think he owns a shower.

Stay away from that Ezra fellow, soon he will be going to dinner with you and sneak out and make you pay for the check!

Ben, you forgot, I have a girlfriend now, and she forces me to shower...it's actually kind of liberating.

Yeah, I may go to the show, but so can everyone else. The show is COMPLETELY FREE AND COMPLETELY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. When it comes closer to the opening and I get more info, I'll tell you guys where to go to get tickets. It should be good.

Unfortunately, "Save the Last Dance" did not make the cut at Fox meaning people are not going to see the movie on tv until their eyes water and their heads spin. On the other hand, it would have been another boon to Julia's theatrical ambitions.

"Bourne" ads are beginning to run on New York television. Unfortunately, Julia is not in the ad I saw. Bummer. No, double bummer.

Finally, people are signing up for "Twelfth Night." The director will be Brian Kulick. He directed "A Winter's Tale" in Central Park in 2002.

Christopher Lloyd will play Malvolio. Zach Braff ("Scrubs") will play Sebastian. Jimmy Smits will be Duke Orsino. Oliver Platt will be Sir Toby Belch. Kathrine Meisle (who has a lot of stage credits) will be Olivia. Kristen Johnson ("3rd Rock") will play Maria and Michael Stuhlberg (theatre credits) will be Sir Brian Aguecheek.

Last year, Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline and Natalie Portman were in "The Seagull" so you can see this will be a first class show.

Guys and Gals,

Just a reminder, from all we have heard/seen in the previews Ms. Stiles' role in Bourne Identity is not going to be huge. She is in the preview I have seen at my theater and on TV, it is just very brief. It leads you to believe she is basically running the bugging/tracking of Bourne for the Paris Police. Trailers can mislead you sometimes, so this may be untrue. But Ms. Stiles isn't really being used to sell this movie, it is more Damon's show. Just so people stop acting shocked that she isn't on the billboard/poster/etc. I still cannot wait to see it though. Read you later!

In the MTV Movie Awards commercials, Julia is no longer in them. I guess this means that she will not be attending the awards.

The "New York Daily News" confirms the casting reported by "Playbill."

Previews begin June 25 and the official opening is July 14. It closes August 11.

The short article includes a smiling photo of Kirsten Johnston who will be featured.

Tickets are free, but there are ways of getting reserved seats as I assume Ezra Moses knows. (It helps to know someone or donate money.)

The Public Theatre site explains how to see the show, which has become standard operating procedure over the years for native New Yorkers interested in Theatre.

I think I've been sucker posted. In my defense, I would like to point out that the current Mayor did invite Julia to a Washington function. On the other hand, there are 49 other states.

"Newsday" now confirms the June 25 date for "Twelfth Night" listing Julia and Kirsten Johnson as stars.

The telephone number for the New York Shakespeare Festival as the production company is called is 212 539-8750 and its web site is www.publictheater.org

I have attended more than once in the past and might be able to answer simple questions.

For example, the show will be performed Tuesday through Sunday, but not Monday with the entrance doors closing at 7:45 p.m. (NO MATINEES!).

yu have anymore information about the performence that would be really helpful considering i would be coming from los angeles. i also heard that you have to wait in line for basically the whole day.
thanks alot

Unfortunately, there is no way to reserve seats for the show. In fact, even if you wait in line all day, you're still not guaranteed tickets.

That being said, if you're in the city, you should by all means try to obtain them. But I'm not sure it's worth a trip from LA just to stand in line.

I will TRY (no guarantees here folks) to obtain some reserved tickets for a couple of shows and give them away, but I don't have too many details on that yet.

Since I've done it in the past, I've seen Kevin Kline amongst others, it is true that you might as well bring a picnic basket and enjoy a long afternoon with a lot of other people in Central Park. At one, the theater employees give out reservations for two tickets each that are given out at five.

On the other hand, if Ezra Moses can't get ICE from Julia I'll be condemned to the catacombs or is it the Paris Opera?

While there is nothing official at Publictheater dot org, I am not sure what those newshawks at the New York papers have missed.

"Smile you're on Candid Camera!" (: Hey, it's only a movie, or is it a theatrical farce??

As Goldie Hawn's daughter Kate Hudson said in "Almost Famouse: 'Me Too!!!!!!!!!!.'"

The three pix are color variations of the one in the New York Post. Unfortunately, color seems to have transformed Julia's jewelry from imaginary baubles to real world trinkets. I apologize for being into red, white and blue jewelry. Maybe it's the "60s." What the heck!

Here's a toughie to find out who'se really into luxe: excluding enamel, what kind of jewelry is RED WHITE AND BLUE???

Hey, hit me with your best shot!!!!!!!!!

I heard that her speech was elequent. Did anybody record it? Or even... transcribe it???

news! news! actual news!

Julia is briefly in the June 3rd issue of NEWSWEEK page 72, as an example of a 'gamma girl' ( as opposed to alpha or beta types which are also described ) The pictue is of her in the famous Met's crop top from over a year ago, and they don't really have any new information.

Roses may be red or white or a lot of other colors (at least as sold in the local flower boutique across the street from my apartment), but I was referring to RUBY RED!

Now how about white gems and you should be able to get what kind of gems are blue.

Sorry to change the subject, but I wanted to comment on the Newsweek article. It was really quite an interesting article, talking about how most teenage girls can be classified as alpha girls- the most popular girls in school-, beta girls- the ones who will do almost anything to get in with the alpha, and the gamma girls- the girls who don't care about that stuff and are so secure with themselves and who they are that it doesn't bother them. I thought Julia was an excellent example for a gamma girl. So if you get a chance, the articles worth reading.

Secondly, in the latest seventeen, Julia is mentioned twice, briefly- first in an article I thought was unfair listing what stars got for movies- Julia was listed at 4 million, which was, I think, one of the lowest and then, 17 stars were listed (Hottest shy guy, all this stupid superficial stuff) but Julia was "THE ROLE MODEL". Not worth picking up seventeen since the thing we didnt know about her, we already knew.. "I still sleep with my blanky"

I want to correct something. The MTV 2002 Movie Awards was taped Saturday in Los Angeles. It will be shown Thursday, June 6 at 9 p.m., 8 Central. It will be hosted by Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Scheduled to appear are Ben Affleck, Kate Beckinsale, Nicolas Cage, Jennifer Connelly, Matt Damon, Even, Anthony Hopkins, Johnny Knoxville, Mike Myers, Natalie Portman, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Chris Rock Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Adam Sandler, Winona Ryder, Hilary Swank, Samuel L. Jackson, Janet Jackson, Nicole Kidman and an audience of thousands.

Eminem and The White Stripes will appear.

Sarah Michelle and Jack Black appear in "Scooby Doo" so expect some hype for that movie, which opens June 14, same day as "Bourne."

Adam Sandler and Winona Ryder are in "Mr. Deeds" which opens June 28. Adam admires Winona's "assets" during their appearance. Hey, I'm just repeating what has been shown.

SPOILER

SPOILER

spoiler

Will Smith imitates Muhammad Ali and Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott won best kiss for their work in "American Pie 2."

On p. 48 of the June 3rd edition of Newsweek there was this little thing about girls. There was an alpha girl (Kirsten Dunst) and a beta girl (Jennifer Love Hewitt) then there was a "well balanced mix of the two" (who else but) Julia Stiles!

Does anyone know how to insert a photo? I have the picture but i dont know how to put it.
it says:

Gama Girl
She's pretty. She's funny. She's obsessed with Shakespeare.Julia Stiles is a star, just slightly off kilter.

then in the middle they have a picture from the MTV Movie Awards 2001.

Under the headline "Taking Stock of Summer" "The Wall Street Journal" says "Twelfth Night"
New York Shakespeare Festival

"OOPS> He's a she. New York begins another summer of free outdoor theater in Central Park, with the opening of Shakespeare's comic 'Twelfth Night,' It's a romance of confusion--sexual and otherwise. When twins Sebastian and Viola are separated during a shipwreck, each believes the other dead. Disguises and complications ensue. This production stars film and TV actors Julia Stiles, Kristen Johnson, Jimmy Smits, Oliver Platt and Christoher Lloyd."

Tickets are free, the theater is open air with regular hard seats and a view of Turtle Pond (which is more a lake) and Belvedere Castle, where weather measurements are taken.

Still nothing on the Public Theater web site.

Zach Braf was on "Letterman" last night (Friday) confirming "Scrubs" would follow "Friends" and the fact he will be appearing in "Twelfth Night" beginning
June 25th.

More trivia is the fact that "Shakespeare in Love" ends on a beach with musings about, what else, "Twelfth Night."

Did anyone watch the preshow? Someone (I think it was Freddie Prinze Jr) said that last year his wife won (and I think he said Sarah Michelle Gellar won). Which is incorrect of course, because Julia and Sean Patrick Thomas won. Somewhat off subject, but Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor should have won best kiss this year. How MTV to have 2 guys win

Sarah Michelle Geller won in 2000. Ol Fred must have just got his years confused. And I agree Kelly Osbourne rocked.

From "The New York Post,"
Monday, June 10, 2002:
"Speaking of music, last Thursday's "MTV Movie Awards" averaged over 7 million viewers---the highest ratings in the show's history. The telecast was also the highest-rated cable show for 2002 among MTV's key demo(graphic) (persons 12-34 years old).

From "The New York Daily News,"
Monday, June 10, 2002:
MTV OUTDOES ITSELF
MTV had a big night Thursday with its 11th annual "MTV Movie Awards."

The program averaged more than 7 million viewers, making it the most-watched "Movie Awards" ever, according to Nielsen Media Research statistics.

Actors Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar were hosts of the glittery affair, which drew VIPs like charlize Theron and was pretaped and aired Thursday.

The telecast was also the most-watched ever by viewers between the ages of 12 and 34, a key audience for the music channel.

The "Movie Awards" honor unconventional movie feats, such as best kiss, best action sequence and best on-screen duo.

Good ole Heather sure knows how to boost ratings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still wonder what happened to JULIA. Hope she isn't afraid to be in a dark park late at nite.
