Anyone can post a new topic as long as it is original and respectful to Ms. Stiles, this site and it's members, and the rules and regulations we have in place. As far as I have seen you have not violated any of these rules and regulations thus far....I would assume this is because you took the time to read them over...if not, PLEASE check them out...they can be viewed in the Forum Feedback section of the board. If you do get closed on a thread, do not take it personally...we do this in order to keep the board organized and generally try and explain why the thread had to be closed. As for your second question about where to post when you publish a site about Julia..I have no idea what you are asking. If you are asking can you advertise your Julia Stiles site on ours, the answer is no. If you have any further questions about Julia, feel free to post them in here. If you have questions regarding forum policy/proceedure either post in the "Forum Feedback" section of the board or shout out to the administrators here at staff@julia-stiles.com. I was just trying to figure out how all of you guys and girls can put pictures, graphics, and those things that say "Quote" and have those lines between the quoted text? Nina, As far as I know Julia's Family Tree hasn't become public information as of yet...however I do recall her mentioning her "hot-blooded Italian Mother" on the Jay Leno Show. As for Germany, I wouldn't be surprised, she did that SNL skit with the German TV Show pretty well, but it's not known if she has German relatives. Keep On Posting! If you want to trace your family history back a few years to see if she maybe related to you... you can go to a library that has a "genology" area. (I think that is what it maybe called) In the librays that have that you can look through old records from where you family came from and you can trace your family tree and see if "Stile" is from a certain part of the world. Or if someone in your family has any relation to Julia's father's side of the family. The only way that you could be related to here is through he fathers side of Julia's family tree. You have to remember that the last name is kept through the father's father's father's name.... and so on. Also in the past the way families got there last names was by the type of work they did in the past. Every last name in the world has some relation to a job the father had in the past. For example TAYLOR is related to TAILORS that do clothing. EVERY NAME has relation to a job or activity so if you can research what "Stiles" has to do with jobs or activities in the past that will help you too. Trying to find out if Julia is related to you in anyway is very hard but it can be done. I have found alot about my family by going to the library and searching through old records. If I'm correct Nina is from Germany and I would assume so is most of her family. The trick in tracing this geneology would be for Nina to find an ancestor who came to America and match that to an ancestor of Julia's. Researching Julia's ancestry would require either a $30 search online and some very close information about her family or to go to the New York City Public Library and research her geneology and match the German ancestor of Nina's to one of Julia's. In other words, damned near impossible. The only way I would think you could connect your families is if you traveled to NYC, checked Julia's geneology and then went back to home to Germany and checked your family history and matched someone. This is no longer producing discussion, unless anyone has any public facts about Julia's ancestry please leave this question alone. Read you later! ------------------ Blessed Be. As best I can recall, here goes: The movie takes place in Chicago, but I'm not certain of the exact location. I've never heard mention of a club called "Steps", I am willing to bet the club exists but that might not be the name of the club that they used. They never said the school name in the movie, and I haven't heard anything about it. Probably because it wasn't important to the movie....good luck finding out the last two. Save the Last Dance was set and mostly filmed on the south side of Chicago. Chicago is a bad city, but the south side is much worse. There is no "Steps," but the location for filming was a real club. I don't remember if it was in Chicago or Los Angeles. I have never met Miss Stiles. The weekend that some other members met her after a show is when my brother was getting married, so I didn't make it. IP: Logged |

I've found e-mail often to be slower than the post office. I do not know of an e-mail route, and I don't think one would exist. We do have at least on member from Chicago, but sadly, they haven't posted in just over a year. IP: Logged |

As far as I know, Julia does play guitar, but not much. Julia has never dated Josh Jackson or Josh Hartnett. That was a misrepresentation of a false rumor that someone spread. A magazine publisher might have back issues, but you are probably going to have better luck bidding on ebay. IP: Logged |
