Julia-Stiles.Com now provides you with yet another way for Julia Stiles fans to interact. A Mailing List! Even if you regularly use the Bulletin Board, we suggest you sign up for this mailing list as well. Both are easy ways to interact with Julia fans.

Q: What exactly is this mailing list?


A: By signing up to this mailing list, you are essentially joining an e-mail circle. Whenever someone on the list sends an e-mail to the special address, it will be sent to everyone on the list. This way topics can be brought up and discussed all from your e-mail box.

We have provided a few easy steps that will get you on the list in just a few minutes

Step 1:Send an e-mail to the address "majordomo@julia-stiles.com". You do not need to put a subject. In the body of the message, type only "subscribe mailinglist". Any signatures you may have, you should delete. Then send your e-mail. In the future, this will be done straight from this page, but for now you must do it manually.

Step 2:You should wait about five (5) minutes and then check your e-mail box. This period could be shorter than 5 minutes or longer, but not by much. In your e-mail box, you should have two pieces of mail. One entitled "Majordomo Results" and one entitled "Confirmation for subscribe mailinglist."

Step 3:In the message entitled "Confirmation for subscribe mailinglist." there should be an authenticating code. If you cannot see it, it is in the 6th line and starts with the letters "auth". Copy that entire line and paste it into a new message. In this new message, it should be sent to "majordomo@julia-stiles.com", there should be no subject, and the body of the letter should just be the "auth" code. Send it.

Step 4:Once again, you must wait a few minutes, but you should recieve another two pieces of mail. One entitled "Welcome to mailinglist", and the other "Majordomo Results." If you recieve these two pieces of mail then you are successfully on the list. You should start recieving messages from the list.

Step 5:You may want to send a letter to the list. To do so, compose a letter and send it to "mailinglist@julia-stiles.com".

You may want to be able to distinguish mailing list mail from junk mail or other mail. To do so, we have provided you with 2 easy features. In the subject line of every letter from the mailing list, you will see the following prefix: "[Julia]". In addition, you will see the following header in the body at the top of every message to the list:
