Are you Julia's official site?

No, we are not. Julia does not currently have an official site. At this time we do not want to be her official site, because it would require us to restrict certain content of our site. This site was intended as an unbiased Julia forum, not an official site.

Do you know Julia Stiles?

Yes, we are in contact with her. She along with her family currently support Julia-Stiles.com.

How do you know Julia Stiles?

To keep her privacy, most details will remain private. However, essentially, she got in contact with the site offering to help out.

Is it true that Julia attends Columbia?

Yes, she is currently a Freshman at Columbia University in New York City. Her dorm remains private to the public which means -- please do not wait around there for her. She would like her privacy.

What is Julia studying?

She is majoring in Sociology and also taking Columbia's required core classes.

Is it true she dated Joseph Gordon-Levitt?

Yes, they dated for about a year and a half. They split up in Novemeber/December of 1999 for undisclosed reasons. He attends Columbia University as well, but there's no word as to whether they're in contact.

What is Julia's next movie?

Julia's movie "O", a teen version of Shakespeare's Othello is apparently set to open nationwide on April 17. Also, her movie The Business of Strangers which opened to mixed reviews (and lots of hype) at Sundance will probably recieve a nationwide release soon. She also filmed The Bourne Identity starring Matt Damon for a month this February in Prague. That is set for release in May or June.

Does Julia have a fan mail address or fan club?

Julia does not have an official fan club, but has a fan mail address. Her fan mail address can be found in the "Extras" section of our site.

I sent something to a different address a while ago. Did she get it?

Ok, long story, but essentially, she started off with UTA, then switched to ICM (Joe Funicello as her agent) but this past July/August (2000) switched back to UTA and Clare Ryu. Anything sent to ICM should be resent to UTA.

It's been three months and still no word. I don't deserve it?

"Stan, please understand, I still want you as a fan." The same applies to Julia. She gets a ton of fan mail and is incredibly busy. I've heard many success stories, but there are still people who have been waiting more than a year. She has promised before to answer everything over time.
