Heathbaby.com Memorial Donation
"Ten Things I Hate About You" heralded the arrival of several new faces to the big screen. In particular Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger illuminated each other very well.
The Heathbaby.com Veteran Group of members is sponsoring a memorial fund drive in Heath Ledger's name. All money collected will go to Guildford Grammar School. Depending on how much money is raised, the money will either go to the fund for new facilities and field hockey pitch. Or a scholarship/award in Heath's name. This charity was chosen since it is one that was special to Heath, and it was felt that by giving to a smaller charity, a more personal memorial could be made.

There has been a separate paypal account set up to accept all donations. You may contribute with US and non-US currency as well as credit and debit cards. No donation amount is too small. Just go to Heathbaby.com, and scroll down a screen to see the news section with the paypal button.

| ''Gospel Hill'' starts filming today |
 Julia will be in a new film, "Gospel Hill", for which the filming begins today, June 11th, in South Carolina. The best page on the web is probably the official site, and every other article appears to be based upon that information.
She will be performing with Danny Glover, Simon Baker, and Angela Bassett. There is also a IMDB page.
Anyone interested in working as an unpaid extra in “Gospel Hill” is invited to attend one of two casting calls in either Charlotte or Rock Hill. The first casting call is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday June 11th. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Rock Hill. For more details, go here.

| ''Raving'' movie, trailer, & behind the scenes clip are online |

People who have iTunes and a fast computer can download "Raving" for free (272MB runtime 23 minutes), or you can also get it at the elle.com Raving page. Elle.com which has a smaller smoother playing image also has a 'Behind the Scenes' movie which is 2.5 minutes long and features an interview with you know who in which the thesis is further explained. "Raving" is worth watching.

Julia Stiles’ sister, Jane O’Hara (working name is probably Jane Stiles), made her TV acting debut playing Valeri on “Law and Order” for the episode, “Fallout” Season 17 episode 19 which aired 27 Apr 2007.

"Killer acting: Julia Stiles’s kid sister, Jane, will soon be making her TV acting debut on "Law and Order." She’s taping the segment now in Tribeca for the episode, “Fallout,” in which she plays a young Russian girl caught up in a sex-trafficking ring. Locally, Jane, 16, was known for her aggressive play on Downtown United Soccer Club’s teams, where her nickname fittingly was “Killah.” Said her mom, Judith — our sports writer — “You’re scooping everyone on this, even the Post. She’s a great actor. People were applauding on the set. She does this intense crying scene.”"

Julia acquired the rights in April to the novel. She will star and co-produce in the film. An article is at
hollywoodreporter. "Julia Stiles will star in an adaptation of Sylvia Plath's autobiographical novel "The Bell Jar" and produce the feature with Plum Pictures (which produced 'Raving') in association with Killer Films." There is one at totalfilm, and another article at variety. which has a bit more about the production members.
"Julia Stiles To Star in Happy Version of Sylvia Plath's 'The Bell Jar'!" They are really looking to bring out the humor in the character. The article is at cinematical. The screenplay is to be written by Lisanne Skyler.

| Fiddy to Julia - ''I'll Pimp Your Ride'' |
|
Showbiz, not unlike politics, makes strange bedfellows, like actress Julia Stiles and rap mogul 50 Cent - at least if you're talking about the bed of a pimped-out pick-up truck with spinning rims.
At a storytelling salon presented last night by Elle magazine, Cole-Haan, and The Moth, Stiles told the simultaneously bizarre and hilarious story of being asked by Fiddy to appear on an upcoming "Pimp My Ride"-esque show he is producing for SPEED Channel. Prompted by a frantic phone call from her agent while she was on holiday, Stiles says she was asked to call the rapper - and that she originally had pulse-quickening visions of Fiddy wanting her "to play a renegade white female rapper who lives in Detroit who is heroic...and I could actually rap in the movie!"
As it turns out, when she finally got through (and having navigated the question of how to address 50 Cent -- "Fiddy? Curtis? Boss?"), Fiddy asked her to appear on a TV show - and offered her a pick-up truck with every blinged-out accoutrement imaginable as an enticement. The conscience-stricken Stiles, however, wanted a different kind of modification - a hybrid engine, or at least one that used bio-diesel fuel, in her car. And, after getting this particular request, Mr. Cent never called back.
